Hoopla is a content platform that lets you check out eBooks, eAudiobooks, music, movies, and TV shows for free using your library card. All content on hoopla is always available and you will never have to wait on a hold list for an item. You can check out up to 6 items from hoopla per month. To get started:
Hoopla Website
- Visit metrolibrary.org/hoopla and click the blue Get Started Today button. Enter your email address and a password of 8-40 characters and click the Agree button.
- Click on Metropolitan Library System Oklahoma City, OK and click Next.
- Enter your library card number.
- Enter your PIN (your full last name) and click Sign Me Up.
Hoopla App
- On your smartphone or tablet, search for "hoopla digital" in your App Store (iOS or Amazon devices) or Play Store (Android devices). Download and install the hoopla app.
- Tap Sign Up. On the next screen, tap Let's Go.
- Start typing "metropolitan" in the Find Your Library box. Choose Metropolitan Library System (OK). Tap Next.
- Enter your library card number and PIN. Your PIN is your last name (capitalization doesn't matter). Tap Next.
- Enter your email address and password. You can choose any password you want (at least 8 characters long). Tap Sign Up.
- Tap Get Started, then search or browse for free content to enjoy!
